I have read the story of Martyn Tott. He was not able to claim the money not because he bought it overseas.

He lost the ticket and in UK you are only allowed to claim within a month if your ticket had been lost. Otherwise you had a grace period of 6 months.

seems you can play if a visitor, its just you need to go back to collect. but yeah you need to reside in UK to use the online ticket purchase option on their national lottery website

I'm Farha, long time lurker and finally decided to open an account. As my first post I'd like to warn you guys in order to avoid a potentially life wrecking disappointment.
