You can extend it.

Roulette, 1 bet is 1/37, 2 bets is 1/37/37 .... n bets is 1/37^n.

If you keep winning, of course, there is a bet limit. At roulette you can add other bets than on the number.

Another advantage at roulette is that you don't have to share the pot with others! Guessing a few times the number

correctly and rebetting your money, you can leave the table(s) with half a million and more. There it is worth calculating which

game is better.

'Duck, I should've been more specific here because it can happen in a couple of ways. Due to the pre-draws, a complete pattern i.e. Odd-Odd-Even can return several times, or, it can return in partial form where the Odd-Odd pattern returns several times over...even after pre-draws. I have try to study and follow lottery patterns for a while, and had few favorable results, but it is so time consuming.

Thanks for thought out information about pre-draws. Can you explain this a little more: because it can come right back in full or partial form ? What can come right back in full or partial form ? The pattern? Would think a pre-draw(s) would brake up a pattern making it unrecognizable (for a long time in Pick 5/31 and pick 6/49 games).

I understand what you're saying above and beyond...and have always said that the state payouts are terrible. In fact, I just mentioned it, again, in one of my latest posts. It will take much longer to hit (1) number with $1 on Roulette than if a person was to go in with $100 and spend it on (5) numbers at a time for (20) spins. I hate to repeat this all the time, but if you play Pick 3, you have a bad payout!

To be sure to get the jp you need to play 1000 combinations and you get 500 USD for winning.

You lost 500. So, if you want to win at least 100 USD you can play maximum 400 combinations of 1000.

In order to double you would have to play 1/4 of 1000 possible combinations.

If you bet on one number at roulette with 1 USD and you win, you have 36 USD.

Patterns do exist in the Pick 3/4 games, but trying to nail them at the right time is where the problem lies. Just when one thinks that a particular pattern either will or won't return, it does just the opposite. Sometimes it causes a player to win but, most of the time it causes a loss due the situation being taken for granted. Remember the other thread here regarding the possibilites of pre-draws affecting a player's approach? This is the culprit...trust me.

There has also be a bunch of 6/6 repeats in the West Virgina Cash25 game(6/25) but it only have 177,100 possible combinations and its top prize is $25K not the millions associated with games like PB and MM.

I assumed pattern was any description of the distribution of numbers in a combination such 3 even,3 odd , 2 low, 4 high , abccde describing the range or position of numbers in a combination or some other notations that followed rules to describe the combinations.

I think that there have been two lotteries doing a 6/6 repeat in the last two years or so.

One was in Bulgaria I think.

So far nobody here defined the word pattern .

in that respect yes...a super mega jackpot game usually does not have a 6 of 6 repeat...

but in mini jackpot games like a 5/39 it happens....

the best i can see from my 6/59 games is that five numbers have repeatd three times...surely it goes against your signature statement...that which happen most is bound to repeat or something like that.(i cant see it in the post reply area

Sure if you're talking about a pick3 or pick4 game which only has a 1000 or 10000 combinations and even less box combinations but I was thinking the question was about jackpot games with millions of possible combinations.

Number Tree made in two steps. First step was to make a HITS CHART using 30 past MM Winning Numbers from 11-11-2011 to 2-21-2012, same way as described on page 31 of LMG.

Perhaps the most effective patterns are ones that change with the properties of the game....(patterns of change)

Why is it that people think repeatable patterns numeric patterns are a viable solution to games that are continually changing?

Without knowing about property changes in the game, you never really know when to pull the trigger as you put it.

my native cash five game 5/39 has a quint 2 15 18 22 26 that has happened 2X!!!

albeit the less numbers the more possiblity of repeating combinations...especially in pick 3...like when 311 came out 6x in one year...or 700 draws

hows that for a repeating combination

what differntiates the numbers on the left from the numbers on the right?

there is a nice swath of bold numbers in the middle...but why are these significant...

a more scientific analysis...maybe a table would be more efficient to read and understand...

If you have studied a lottery and identified repeating patterns then you should play the ones that happens most often and hope you have the right combination when they occur. Since patterns repeat and combinations don't, there are many combinations within a pattern.

Pattern occurrences have nothing to do with jackpot sizes so there's no way to know which one will come up when the jackpots are at their peaks, you just has to accept the prizes you win.

when i speak of patterns i really am referring to the core pattern that the master speaks of in her guide...

the flag formation was an industry term even before gail sold it.

such as what is the best way for bottoms to pair up

i find in new york you have 3 flag numbers typically of small skip...

most likely a repeat abd a 1 day...the long skips are easy to see but hard to match....

the other skips are those tricky 9 day skips where you are not sure if the number is

you can easily do a count of the mega ball...i dont use ny website because it is not easy to xfer into excel,

texas has a good website for extracting data...36 is best mega ball in game 37 just came out...

i would play 36 HF meaning high frequent

and 37 minimum R skip (repeat)

yes well a reapeat skip means first five numbers in your wheel...then skip 1 ,then flag skip 4 or 5 day, then a long shot bottom....

those are the patterns to match in my experience...

From what I have gathered over the last 15 years or so, while there are patterns within any lotto draw, those patterns are not 100% accurate (I say this as if this was something new. Ha!).

What you must do if you wish to use patterns, is to decide which patterns you find most profitable . You will need several of these patterns; not just one or two.

90% of the time I play patterns. Best bet is to keep a running tally of data from the game you like. I play several so I keep about 1.5 years worth of data and track the patterns.

I usually look for due patterns.

For example: in the FL Fantasy 5 game that I play, let's say there is a draw that includes all #s from 20-36 every 20 draws or so. It has now been 25 draws. I will play all my lines including only numbers 20-36. I'll continue on that pattern until it comes up, then I'll switc... [ More ]

There is no such thing as better lottery system or lottery pattern. Use them for fun but don't expect much from it.
