Dont forget when you sign the back of ticket under your signature write TICKET OWNER ...

Always sign the back of any of your ticket no matter if their winners or losers .

I'm with California! I'm signing the ticket (at least the part where

the signature is suppose to be), even if claiming it later

as a trust, to leave a jackpot winning ticket blank is crazy

i have done some self teaching of the short form in tai chi...and i used to play around with drunken monkey style...but only when i was drunk. (which by the way is very dangerous to do!)

(i like the philosphy of jeet kune do)

my jeet kune do IS drunken monkey style, i would do better with a tail...but to answer your question...

No i do not practice shotokan...i just like how the word sounds...

and it sounds cool with wizard...to me anyways.

In California it has to be signed by the PERSON that purchased the ticket.

The answers to your question will vary because each individual state has different rules. For instance in Iowa a trust can claim the winnings but the name of player who purchased the ticket must be known.

i actually never sign my tickets...because i never lost them...

until actually i lost my wallet the other day.

it had had a $40 dollar key wheel in it for sweet million...luckily my hanging ghost is still hanging around!

luckily nobody won the jackpot.

and i had a $25 front pair ticket winner ...also unsigned...

not my lucky day...

but at least when i went down to the precinct i met some very friendly police officers...that now will be my frien... [ More ]

The trust is the name of the group the trust belongs to, the ticket is probably claimed in the name of the trust.

I am trying to figure out who signs the back of the lottery ticket if you win a jackpot and wish to remain anonymous by claiming the winnings through a blind trust. Does the attorney sign? The Trustees? or the person that bought the ticket?

I see everywhere that you should sign your ticket right away to claim ownership, but does this comprimise your ability to be anonymous? I would think so....anyone know???
