after the dentist

for a bar near a dentist office.

when ever i left my dentist's office (mouth still numb)

i'd head directly to my favorite bar,

the cracker barrel inn called the barrel' by locals.

called the the blood bath by people that knew it from the old days.

i'd say to the bartender ,

yo hank,i just came from the dentist,i heard 2 freinds were here waitin on me

w/ that, he knew i wanted a jack a bud.

In Lansing MI, there is a bar called R Club . I always liked that.

I'm not sure what I'd name a bar. Maybe a convenience store named Quick Pick . There used to be a chain of Quickie Pickie , and when I was a kid, a convenience store chain called U-Totum with a totum pole logo.

@ Coin toss,

I like sports bars, where i grew up,there was a place called the huddle

i knew of another place called the 10th inning .

near the atlantic city race track, there used to be a place called the winner's circle

then of course,lots of golf courses have a nearby place called the 19th hole

now for one thats not a sports bar,but very creative,

there was a place across the street from a hospital called the recovery room ,LOL

There was a woman in Las Vegas who owned two bars, one was called Don't Ask and the other was Who Cares?

Kind of clever - Where are you going honey?

Don't Ask , etc.....

There were (or are) other ones named Marker Down and Money Plays (gambling terms).

There was also a short-lived casino named The Park and guys actually brought jogging suits to work with them and told their wives they wer going to 'the park' after work.... [ More ]
