yeah i dont think its a fortune cookie, its more likely the numbers are all birthday numbers. im actually suprised there wasnt multiple jackpot winners.

This is the fortune cookie numbers I've played for over six years now: 1-11-13-14-16 (21-- you will be very rich ); only I hit (3) of the numbers last night and the payout was very low. I guess this number combination is very popular. don't feel bad COw, I aksed DH if he played any mega # he said no I just grab a couple of quick picks he said why you ask I said well I went on to tell him what the #'s were, 1 is my dad's birthday, 4 is his dad birthday 6 is his birthday and 11 is mine and 14 is the age of our oldest son.... and 30 is my youngest niece birthday he just looked at me with disgust...

From all the fortune cookie numbers I've seen, they usually have a much higher number spread. I think it's just Birthday's as well.

Nah I'm pretty sure it's just birthday numbers. I mean 1 4 and 6 are all my numbers and 14 is my dad's number and my dog is 11 years old. crap why didn't I play those numbers?! oh well.. lol

It has to be more than just coincidence to get 21 second prize MM winners in CA. alone.

I remember several years ago during a PB draw that over 90 second prize winners in 2 states won with numbers that were distributed on a fortune cookie strip.

I find it real interesting that there were 68 seconds with only 46 numbers in the Megaball field. That means there had to be MULTIPLE 5 + 1 tickets amongst the other 45 available numbers.
