welcome, 2nd there is so many systems its mind boggling, don't go crazy, pick one or two single numbers you like and 2 to 3 doubles because they pay more when they hit, and stick with them, that's it, also choose if you are going to play mid or eve before you begin if you play both, and have a losing streak that is alot of money down the drain, once you have figured out which numbers you like, play on paper for awhile until you get used to how your state runs its p3, if you see y... how can you beat 6 bets for .50 cent!

there are no casinos around here...do you count video roulette? i am not sure if there was a physical white ball and wheel at empire city...

Thanks for your replay, GWBasic has about ran its course, it doesn't work on any of the newer machines so it time to start learning something new and that sounds interesting. Maybe I'll do some research into it.

You would need to understand object oriented programming. Don't know anything about GWBasic or if it supports that. You need to know Java and XML. Don't know what the market is like for that type of program, I have done one game and one RPG app. Warning selling apps on android is tough going. You would have to look it up but with fees and stuff on a $1 app I think you actually get about $.40 of it. I may be wrong, but it was something along that line.

The payout for pick 3 sucks, a casino roulette does better. If I want to wager 100 USD, I rather step inside of a casino with dealers at the tables than playing pick 3.

What do you need to know to write android apps? I wrote some lottery programs in GWBasic years ago which I still use today on my Windows XP machine. If I could convert them to android apps, I might be able to sell them and make more money than I ever made playing the lotteries.

I am new here, i have always played the lottery but never got serious. There is so much information, too much. Can anyone give me some advice on where to begin? I am a programmer, I have made a couple of android apps, but I would like to make a lottery app. I am looking at p3 and p4 games first. What systems work, what doesn't, that kind of stuff.
