I found out there were 3 Mega Millions Jackpot winning tickets at $656 million: One in Illinois, Kansas, and Maryland. If nobody had won that jackpot, it would've been $975 million. What do you think about my comment

I agree. I havent bought any powerball tickets since the increase. The economy is in the tank, why double the price? For $2, I get 2 shots at either the MM or my state lottery, or one of each. Been buying only MM, no powerball.

Lessee... for 1$ I can take a chance out on a 1/2B$ j/p prize... or for 2$ I can purchase a chance on a 50M$... think I will take that 2$ from over there (pointing to the PB lottery fund pile) and place it over HERE (pointing to the MM lottery pile)...

So for 2$ I can get 2 extra chances on my 1/2B$ prize. (c z are affecting sales - priCe and priZe

Right now, the jackpot sizes are driving sales just as PB had hoped, only they don't have the larger jackpot as they had hoped. It may be with PB not attracting most of the casual players with its price, its jackpots may be lower most of the times.
