It was on the Virginia lottery facebook page. I guess there are few (if any) liquor stores near the metro since VA is one of 7 or 9 states where the government runs those stores (and I have been told those stores are hard to find also...I don't drink so have never had to look for one).

I buy my tickets at 7-11s or a Giant or in DC.

we tried to go to VA today but failed. why are there so few Beer+Wine/lottery shops off the VA metro line =(

It is crazy in Virginia. The Virginia lottery offices posted that they are staying open to 6 PM tomorrow so people can buy tickets there.
