I would absolutely tip the clerk. Especially since I go to the same store every time I play....and its usually the same girl. Today when I bought my tickets she gave me a smile and said good luck I hope you win. She always says it to me, but I never hear her say it to other people.

For a jackpot of this size, I would tip her a good $100,000 if it was the QP. If its my own numbers that win it, I'd probably only give her about $50,000.

I might actually go out and purchase 5 more tickets so I can do just that... 1 to the clerk who sold the the other 2 tix I hold, and 1 for the clerk that sells me these'uns and then 3 more ... well ... just cuz and ALL of them the same #'s. - Brilliant

When the jackpot is pumped up I try to 'tip them beforehand' - yesterday I played a ticket and then played the same numbers for the clerk and gave her the ticket.

Always nice to know someone else is rooting for the same numbers.

It depends. I have always assumed I'd give them the Gov't standard of $13,000 if I won a normal jackpot. Being this big? Well, I'd have enough accountants, advisors, and so forth to find a way to give them more.
