By the way, the count is a real-time count indicating at one moment in time how many people are online. The actual number of people who visit the site in total during the evening is much, much higher. That number will be in the hundreds of thousands or millions. It will basically be limited by whatever the capacity of my servers and network bandwidth will let through. Plus, it's split among LP and USA Mega, so the counter here only captures the LP visitors.

Unfortunately, the actual number will be much greater than my counter will capture. That's because when the site receives overwhelming traffic it starts recycling memory in the server, which tends to recycle the counter.

However, I recently purchased a third party counter that will capture a more accurate count of real-time traffic. Unfortunately I don't think I have a way to share the count on the site yet, but I can at least let you all know after the fact.
