Seriously, though, it's cool to chase the proverbial dollar and a dream as long as you don't go overboard with it. I personally believe it has to do with a person's state of mind...just look at the guy who got struck by lightening a few days ago. The intensity of one's thoughts are extremely powerful. Mastering those thoughts is where the challenge lies.

Sounds like you are addicted to playing PB if you really believe everybody else spend $4 weekly dreaming of winning its jackpot. I would have thought since you are only dreaming, you would spend $2 weekly on MM and saved $2 instead. Since I'm a system player, I play the games that I feel offer the best value for my dollars.

LOL Even if it WERE possible to buy every possible combination for Mega Millions for one draw, it would be a foolish proposition for the sole purpose of winning ~$290 million or whatever after taxes, simply due to the probability of another winning ticket (or more winning tickets) being sold, therefore causing you a LOSS of at least $30 million.

I don't play PB now, I haven't played since its price went up to $2 and when I participated in Ohio lottery website survey on customer response to the $2 price, I mentioned that. If it's jackpot ever reaches $300M+, I'll probably play it again.

How about saving all your weekly or monthly lottery budget for an entire year to put it in one drawing?

If the states couldn't make money running these games, what other reasons would they have?

If players didn't get some enjoyment out of playing these games, why would they continue paying to lose?

I get your point, there are participants that can benefit a great deal in any zero-sum game by studying the game( for example the stock market). You are betting against chance when it comes to the lottery. It happens to be that 70% to 80% of winners have won with Quick Picks.

Some savvy people on LotteryPost can predict 2 MM hits in a pool of 12, just about every week, but what good will that info do ya? Don't think any wealth is generated in any lottery system or gambling system but wealth is generated in the infrastructure built to support it . How about spending (2*52 Weeks) $104 on MM and (4*52Weeks) $208 on PB on one drawing yearly?

I know, you like to have at least 1 ticket in every draw. It makes sense to play more when the jackpot is high. You got to have 1 ticket in play to always be dreaming.
