Down and Dirty shouldn't be annoyed with anyone. He has something in common with almost everyone that ever spent a buck on Sweet Million. He didn't win a million dollars!

Yes, it certainly was the games fatal flaw. The design of the game was flat out BAD. I dont think The NY Lottery had their thinking caps on when they were discussing the game prior to introducing tickets for sale. He does make some sense here. Although he says it doesn't matter now, I think it does matter. There should be a NY state senate inquiry into this game to find out what happened to the money, to be transparent about how the money was allocated to executives, where the education money went, what its being use for, and why are they going to go and mess with the odds of winning by cancelling a game mid stream. My only problem with this game was the crappy $500 payout for a 5 of 6 hit.

That, IMO, was the game's fatal flaw. The odds of winning a million bucks were fairly decent, but the lower-level prizes were pure crap. They should have been higher, and it would've been nice if there was a 2 of 6 prize, even if it was just a dollar or two or a free play. Had the other prizes been bigger, the player base might have been bigger as a result.

I am annoyed that they stopped this game. I am annoyed that I didnt do better. I played every draw from the time they started it.

6 out of 40 (for a million dollar prize). Still sounds like one of the best games in NY.

I finished the last night with two 3 of 6 hits myself.

My only problem with this game was the crappy $500 payout for a 5 of 6 hit.

Cash For Life is no replacement for this game.(in short)

I hope that the NY lottery comes up with a worthy replacement for it soon.

There were 4 numbers that hit ten times in 2014 (in 21% of the 47 drawings) 1 4 9 22.

There were 7 numbers that hit eleven times in 2014 (23% of the drawings) 5 8 11 15 19 20 33.

Well I played an obscene amount of money tonite.

I took a second mortgage on the house.

Maxed out my credit card.

I wouldn't give too much credibility to what steve allensworth is saying. At least I would have a large chunk of salt with it.

How can you have a fixed payout amount if the lower tier prizes were not parimutel?

So lets say for argument sake on one draw 1000 people won. (But not the jackpot.) Would those 1000 people share the 38% prize pool?

But the next draw only 500 people won. Again no jackpot. Would those people earn more because there was less people involved?

It's gonna be interesting to see if Cash4Life takes off or not.

I mean, will it underperform like they said Sweet Million did? I'll be watching to see what happens with the new game. True, the prize pool is 55% compared to SM's 38%, but then tickets are 2 bucks a line too.

I just went out bought and my tickets... but my heart wasn't even in it. Not because SM is going away, but because I feel like crap. Thats correct. skip twenty two for 21.

If you use the abbreviated skip chart, (chart 4, then f4, then f4 again) and you scroll back, the skip 22 could be considered a bottom as it has skipped at 20 and 21, however if you notice there is an anamoly skip of 36 games, which quite frankly scares me. The 21 is also not on the trailing chart, whereas 35 is. So I may lean towards 35 and do a separate power number wheel with the 21.

I also think I like the 35 MORE than the 7.

I have the 21 at a 22 skip, is that right?

The 7 and 35 (at a 31 skip) have been getting my attention, but I only play each of them on two different lines. I think it was the 28 that skipped 41 drawings way back when, which is the longest skip ever in Sweet Milly. There's only 9 drawings left, so neither of them can break the 28's record of skipping 41 drawings.

I always play any longshot as a repeater and a 1 skip whenever it hits. I think that's why I've hit 3 baggers as consistently as... [ More ]

I had a crazy idea also to do a $100 dollar wheel, but I haven't moved forward with the idea yet.

You're right about playing the same numbers over and over too. That's dangerous!

As far as playing dumb goes, well, I always liked to **think** I played smartly, but I hardly ever won more than three bucks, so I cant say I play all that smartly.

I'm sure I'll throw a few bucks at the new game myself, but I wont play it as much as I played Sweet Million.

I did feel that SM had the best odds for winning 1 million and that is way enough for me. I never won much but I probably played in a really dumb way anyway. Every Monday and Thursday I buy 5 separate SM tickets with the same six numbers and 1 QP. The reason I did this is because I have four siblings and I always figured that if my numbers hit, I had a very good chance of winning 5 million, then I would simply keep one ticket for myself and give the other four to each of my siblings. It's not entirely The NY Lottery's fault that the game went nowhere. IMHO, lottery players share some of the blame too. Show me where you can find lower odds to win one million dollars for the price of 1 dollar. You cant do that because there isn't any game anywhere that matched SM's low odds. For a while a few months ago, I created my own powerplay playing Sweet Million.

I played the same set of six numbers on my ticket twice. (I had two identical lines on the ticket) I did that because SM isn't parimutuel unless there are more than 5 winners of the 1 million dollar top prize. (Which never happened since SM started in 2009)

The nice part about doing that is that the odds are 3.8 million to one to win two million playing two identical lines, and it cost me just 2 bucks. To play... [ More ]

It was ironic reading about you not bailing out on Sweet Million, because I am almost all out, I only played one ticket yesterday, instead of my usual five tickets, the same series of numbers I have been playing since SM started, and look at the results;

I read somewhere that SM under-performed ....

So why did it under-perform? Because The NY Lottery BLEW IT when they started the game. It isn't the players fault SM under-performed.

Here's how they blew it:

For one dollar, if I have five numbers in SM (18,815 to 1 odds) I'd win 500 bucks.

For the same dollar, I can win that same 500 bucks with a one dollar straight play in Numbers which carries 1,000 to 1 odds.

It's 18.815 times harder to win 500 bucks in SM than it is playing Num... [ More ]

Ok, had the 37 on 3 lines and hit for NOTHING on those lines.... had one other line of my NORMAL numbers and hit the 1-9-25 and ALMOST got my $5 investment back.... and they wonder why no one is playing this game? One of the 3 lines SHOULD have hit for $3 or more...........

I'm glad you are sticking it out in here with me til the end! Yes I have been playing around with A+. And this is what I see based on the info. I'm still learning though so bear with me..... LOL

Since we have had mostly low numbers, the High/low bias is now at L+12. So I would be looking for mostly higher numbers.

We have also had mostly Odd numbers so consider more evens in your plays.

The last sum was 98. And since we need higher numbers, go for a higher sum... [ More ]

In our pool at work, we have enough players (usually 20 or more people get in the pool) that when I buy the tickets, I mark each bet slip with a different PB (or MegaBall) number so that each and every one of them is covered. That way we always have the MegaBall or The PB, and are guaranteed to win a few bucks every time we play. As for the first 5 white balls, I simply mark the QP square on the bet slip. If we ever got lucky and had two or 3 white balls on the same line that we had the winning

Two repeaters and one 1-skip.

Prior to tonites drawing, nine numbers had been drawn nine times this year.
