i dont understand how creating 4 digits from one digit is simplification...

lakerben...in pick 3...do you use binary conversion to hit your str88??

if the 5 hits in one draw...then hits in the next draw...

how did converting to 0101 back to 5 save any time or help at all?

Please somebody, anybody enlighten me how these extra step help at all

Binary could work and so could octal or hexcadeciaml. Just takes some time.

0001=1

0010=2

0011=3

0100=4

0101=5

0110=6

0111=7

1000=8

1001=9

Maybe use the sums would be easier.

For example, a triple 333 could be 1001

Then maybe a table of the last ten to see a trend.

The bases above do integers, those are ball numbers and they don't come as 0.5 or 2.7 after converting.

You could convert 0.5 decimal into binary 0.1.

There are no best integers. There is also no 0 in a traditional pick 6 lotto game.

Every number has the same chance.

the best integers to use are

0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 10 11 12

by skips these give the most jackpots...

Switching bases is visualising groups. Base 2 shows more than odd and even. Base 25 shows more then high and low.

You can calculate skips, series, frequencies, finals, groups and other on these, or go by intuition after seeing the data in different numeral systems.

Nah, I do think some group methods work better than others.

Switching bases would seem to need something else (another reduction method) to go along with it.

Some years ago, another member (can't recall who) suggested something like this.

They weren't able to hit any better in those bases than in base 10.

Instead of grouping numbers, you might change the numeral system!

This is Euromillions for example.
