I have been tweeking my cold period count for the pick 3 game...took me a half hour for each position up to Jan 1, 2012...

we shall see how it goes...

when time permits i will explain it in my blog...

the pick 5 is becoming exceedingly elusive and depressing...i figure $1000 per week in pick 3 may be a more attainable goal...if the cold count is reliable...

Don't know how old you are, but, back in the day there used to be contraptions called record players . They were things that had what was called a turntable . You would take a vinyl disc that had tiny grooves cut in it and put it on the turntable. You then would put a long arm that had what was called a needle on the end of it onto the record . I check my card after 10 draws (not 10 weeks). 10 weeks, 10 draws, no big deal. Either way, my time horizon for winning is still going to be somewhere within the next 28,000 years.

I absolutely agree with you on this, Stack. In one of my past posts, I even mentioned how I discard any QP's from a previous draw, that I don't play again, so I won't have to check them against any drawings I missed. This is to prevent any mental devastation in case one of those tickets actually hits the jackpot...and I didn't play it. See, this is what sets QP's and dedicated self picked numbers apart. this combo would not have been chosen by any human. p

A)1st # is 23. p

B) next is a double of 32 33... why would anyone choose to double and then continue with another # in the 30's. p

If you're buying QPs, you'll never know if you missed hitting the jackpot on drawings you're sitting out. So it shouldn't make any difference if you sit out nine straight and purchase 10 QPs on for the tenth drawing. Besides very few drawings produce jackpot winners and unless you have knowledge of which drawing will hit one, you're always taking a chance and the chances of one ticket winning a jackpot (1 in over 175 million) are the same in every drawing.

I am a big fan of buying 1 quick pick ticket per drawing, but it is fun to play 10 lines in a single drawing because of the anticipation of checking 10 lines instead of a single line in 10 separate drawings.I do not play for 10 drawings in order to play 10 lines in a single drawing without spending extra money.

The only drawback is the lost opportunity of winning in the drawings that I missed in order to save 10 lines for a single drawing.

Ridge - respectfully I disagree. Chicken Soup in a Sponge is better.

... and I do not think I would enjoy playing 1X10 and skipping 9X to play 1X10. It would have me miss the fun of the 9 drawings in between. My chances might be better, but I play for more than just my 'chances'.

My logic is to prove Thriftys system wrong by playing all 10 lines on every draw until I win the jackpot. If I transfer the original 10 QP numbers and keep playing them for the rest of my life are they still QP numbers

I'm gonna call it the Play-Dead system.

It calls for playing like a wild man gone insane while you're alive and then never playing again from the moment you die.

Yeah, this is very interseting to me, Thrift'...and it also seems to follow what I've been saying here all the while. By carefully examining this ticket, we can see that it's definitely $10 worth, and, (10) lines of numbers. It can also be further broken down into (2) $5 worth of tickets, and, (5) lines. I see where the first (5) lines lost, but still contained a couple of the key winning numbers.

you should not post that ticket, it is not yours...

also your system has not won this ticket...so you should stop proposing your system as if it did win this ticket...because no offense...your system is a non-system...

or better put it is a pseudo system...

shotgun may be the way to go...but not with quickpicks...

if for example you play 15 17 18 19 20

now that is what i would call a shotgun system...

that player just got plain ole dumb lucky...
