Not me either. I haven't been to Austin since '09. I barely got out of my neighborhood yesterday to get my tickets with those darn Ironman cyclists speeding down the roads. They nearly kilt me.

I play every draw for jackpots. MM, PB, or Texas Lotto. No pick 3 or 4's, but I will play the Two-step (pick 5) when it hits $500k. No powerplays, all cash value. Mostly QP. Sometimes I let LP pick my QP's, LOL.

Anyone who takes road trips to play powerball must have rocks in their head. No offense rad, but your kidding right?? Do you comprehend that you could play 1000 lines per draw and still be at 4000 to 1 odds?

Most people cant pick a winner in a horse race where 1/3 of the 12 horses are better than all the others. lol. We are talking 4 to 1 odds here and you are driving the county side chasing after 4000 to 1 odds?

Im embarrassed to say I went down to QT and offered up a $10. sacrifice.

Doesn't make sense to me to wait til the pot hits a certain level because your odds ain't gonna change no matter what the jackpot is.

On a 3ball - I was able to purchase 5 new tires for my SUV.

On a couple 4 of 6s I got a few hotel nights on the beach.

Ummm....beyond that the smaller wins in the Powerball merely defrayed a small part of the expenses to stay in the game.

The jackpot games always look good to me no matter whether they're the state lotto at $1M or PB at $40M+. I'd be elated with any big win so I buy tickets whenever the urge strikes without regard to odds vs. jackpot size.

I play megamillions every draw. I dreamt of some numbers specifically for mega so I play those and I'm terrified that the one day I don't play, that's the day my dream numbers come out. Even before I dreamed of the numbers I played pretty regularly. Same for Powerball until they raised the price to $2. I only play powerball when I have the extra cash...doesn't really matter the JP size.

Cool beans! I will be 37 in December and started playing in the same year. I was only playing the state lottery at that time. In 2000 I started my road trips to GA to play Powerball. Late fall marks 16 years. It's been a long career - lol.

I like to play all the time for powerball if I have the money too. I sometimes wait for mega to get bigger but I always keep track of the numbers because I play the same numbers over and over. The odds are too astronomical to make bets based on the jp size. The odds are the same regardless of its size. I don't bet or not bet based on jp size. I play the same line on all draws and also add lines on 10 draw cards, anywhere from 3-10 additional lines. $100 or so per month is my max limit regardless of jp size.
