I never thought about adding that but it might be a ggod idea.

A person could add numbers and then evaluate the group number by number. If you look at the pic you will see a button

labled [POS] just under the Digit-9 button. This lets the user either use the all positions or you can set

the digits by position. You can assign any amount of digits to any position or you can like you mention

above set a single digit to hit in any one position.

Thanks RL,

Have been hoping you would set it up for a simple split of the draws for Oregon. Also you are right to want to give the 4 digit a go the DM is very capable of all lottery games with the right setup. The RNG is going to be a lot easier to follow with the DM. Is the suggest function going to be a part of the p3 and p4 ? 10,000 to one would be interesting to see how close the function will bring a user to the right setup. Good teaching feature though. Thanks for the hard work. dld

Hi all

Just wanted to explain a little about the P-3 program, here's the rundown. In a P-3 game you have 1000

3 digit lines 000 to 999. The 1000 lines can be divided into two groups which I call stag or drag. A stag

line has 3 different digits and a drag has at least 2 same digits. Since 72% of the possible 1000 lines

are 3 digit stag sets we can expect a stag set to show around 7 out of 10 drawings. Every 3 digit stag

combination has 6 ways the digits can be arranged, or one coul... [ More ]

I would guess a DLL dependency issue, but I could be wrong. Typically if a program immediately shuts down it's usually because it depends on a DLL not present or the DLL does not contain a required export that the application is using. I have used depends.exe (dependency walker) in the past to troubleshoot problems when developing for embedded Windows CE devices.

Jimmy
