Thanks Laverne. Looks like it fell on June 2 and then next time was June 20, 21, 22 (three mid in a row). So few and far between. From your yesterday post, the 9 in middle seems more promising. In Tri-States we can select single digit for up to $5, so for us rookies, that's a big temptation :) Thanks for your expertise.

I do not know, but how long is it usually on average before the digit 5 will hit in the third position? That may give you a clue.

As of the midday draws for today June 26, 2012 the digit 5 didnot appear in the third position. Perhaps it will appear in the next two rounds of draws.

Or...

You can wait until the midday on June 27, 2012 play pick 3s with the digit 5 in the third position. You would be banking on perhaps that the digit 5 would not miss the midday in the third position two middays in a row.
