original keno was based on a chinese poem. each character drawn was a word. an icongraph. meaning it meant something like a symbol.

so when you pick your numbers they could be just about anything to represent ea ball.

if ea barrel had a diff set numbers then yeah the odds would get harder. but they have the same icons on ea set.. you are worried about the icon drawn not the ball.

Well, think of it in a simple way. You have 4 coins, and each coin is being flipped the same number of times. But you are shown results of only one coin each time. In theory it should create disproportion for the number of outcomes, and on the scale of let's say 10000 flips the chances of having approx equal number of outcomes are much lower.

So, for example, the theory about cold numbers that they should catch up at some point, might be totally broken. Because those times when machine genera... [ More ]

Another thought, isn't it true that if you use 4 machines, your odds of getting your number decrees 4 times? so it should be 175mil x 4?

There may be four different machines that can be used but only one is used for the official drawing. The machines not be used have no effect on the drawings.

Since lotteries are run by government, shouldn't the preparation process be publicly available as well?

I saw the video for Power ball and kept on thinking. Here are the facts that I can't get out of the head. It turns out to be, that they run 4 tests before the drawing and one test after the drawing. Besides that, there are 4 machines that they use. Fine, this is what they do, they might have their reasons for it, but since its run by the government, shouldn't that information be availa... [ More ]
