That's why most people don't trust computers for drawing winning numbers.

Too many variables for things to go wrong by accident and by design.

I did some further digging on the California lottery site and yes, Fantasy Five is a computerized draw. They use two machines randomly selected for each draw. From what I understood, they use the same machines for the pick 3 and pick 4 games. Oh well, thought I might be on to something, got all excited for a moment. Now I'm depressed.

It has happened often enough that numbers I pick for California's Fantasy Five (5/39)game show up instead on the next Super lotto (5/47 + mega) game (and vice versa) that I'm wondering if the same ball sets and machines are used for both games. Do they remove balls 40-47 and draw the 5/39 numbers then add them back to the set for the 5/47 drawing? Or is the 5/39 draw done by some other method
