My understanding is the $5433 will be split between 4 tix. paying $1358 ea.

the same thing happens w/JC5 it shows the total prize won, then later you find out there was more than 1 winner.

I can't answer that as I'm not a 3/4 player,

however i just called the store where I buy tix. and was told that the win was split by 4 players.

Hi LottoBoner - Yes, all payouts reported on the NJL website are for a $0.50 bet.

This payout is an extreme that is very rare....Some payouts are on the other extreme, which happens much more frequently. For example, a lot of birthday numbers typically pay out less that $2000 str8 for a $0.50 bet. Take a look at the website when you get a chance, and you will see a wide range of payouts. I've seen str8 payouts that fall below $1000

Are you sure its a fifty cent bet? Usually all stats and prized are calculated according to a dollar bet. In which case straight is 433 more, and box only 52 more.

Haymaker what do you think? Isn't a dollar the default bet?

You are correct, of course they sold much more, in a state of 8 million,

I'm guessing half the population are players.

I was just generalizing on the top prize.

when i make my next stop to buy tix i will try to remember to ask for a printout for that day.

remember is the key word since I'm not a 3/4 player.

thanks for that website info, amazing that they call that an improved site.

I would think that NJL sold a lot more than $10,000 worth of tickets. Even if there was only one winner str8, you would still have to accommodate all the box hits, which would be 1/12 the payout of the str8 hit. Unfortunately NJ does not post the number of winners on their website. You need to go to a kiosk and ask the teller to print out that info.

Probably the opposite Nikkicute..... New Jersey is a pari mutuel state. Payouts vary from day to day, depending on how many people play and how many people win. From the looks of things, a lot of people played, and not many had the 7003 str8.

I'm not 3/4# player, but i think it means over 20,000 .50 cent tickets were sold, getting the state over $ 10,000

and creating a prize over $5000, but the state web site doesn't tell how many winners had to share that prize.

If it does i could't find it, the state,s website leaves a lot to be desired.
