Hi rhonda this is so sad that a young person maimed another. Yes, he was blessed. My elder neightbor always say that it just wasn't someone's time to go because there is something else here on earth for that person to do. Wholeheartedly I agree. All we can do is pray every day and count our blessings.

I wanted to add a little story that happened to me on the bus the other day a young man around 20 got on my bus , he was smiling (me i was in one of my modes ) the young man said good morning i said good morning back (going to skip the preliminaries) the young man had just come from rehabilitation and i was like oh what for he proclaimed he had been shot 9 times i was in shock i told him he was blessed he sd everyone tells him that and he wanted to know why GOD had saved him i told him so that h... A word of advice: Do not try to predict God's actions. In my own life experiences, I learned that God is very offended if somebody try to predict his actions. Even a small anticipation will enrage him. So pray but don't try to think too much of the result.

I sent a prayer or two out for the big lottery win and when I went jogging a few weeks ago I found $5.00 on the side of the road. Me and the Mrs went to Dairy Queen, got the by one get second one for .99,,,,, sorta defeated the jogging results BUT, some would consider that a nice lil win-win situation. I won't complain, just will ask for the Jackpot prize next time in my prayers.

The God I experienced is quite mischievous one, at best. Sometimes I envy those atheists because they perceive that they have nothing to fear. I always pray to God to just let me win and leave me alone and torment some other people but me. I am serious.

I was beaten and bruised both physically and emotional by my dear sweet nuns. This all occurred when I attended a Catholic school from grades

2-4. God bless them however, they scared the living sh*t out of me, and taught me to never fear God, just the nuns who enforce all the rules.

shorty after my son was born he was diagnose with Muscular dystrophy and they told me that he would be in a wheel chair before he was 16 and would not live to be 21 he live to be 29

my truck broke down yesterday and well i have a terrific mechanic as soon as he got off from wrk he reassured me my truck would be fixed well i know my mechanic and he works real hard and sometimes hey he should have a day off hisself but not today he fixed my truck and i will have it so i can work tommorrow i was like i love u and God is good all the time................................................

Fayfulatte my prayers goes out to u i will pray for u and ur entire family because i know this is a strain ....ironically my uncle that is in the hospital his twin brother came from alberquerque (misspelled i knw) he was the warden there for many yrs but anyway he came to be by his brothers side he is staying with us for 3 wks until his brother gets all the help he needs we found out that my uncle isnt gettn all his blood to his brain so he is not the same person maybe seeing his twin will keep

I seen this on a church billboard; Thank God in the dark as you would do in the light. I felt empowered by this today . Its ironic how we and yes im using myself as well , we will cl Gods name when everything is going well like really praise Him but as soon as that world wind comes we start asking y instead of still praising Him . rhonda, when I was young I remember the Reverend or Pastor use to read and repeat a passage from the Bible and I use to wonder Why. Well don't you know! that # from it would hit! People worked just as we do today, but needed a little extra to make ends meet, so by the grace of GOD! The way to to make ends meet was given to us.

Surely God loves corporal punishment. Again, I felt his wrath for some really petty things. And I wonder why you would use KJV. KJV is not the most accurate translation.

God does have his favorites, no matter how they really worship him or not. Just like the Book of Isaiah said, both good and evil come out of from the Lord.

In the Bible when it says the fear of the Lord is the begining of knowledge (Proverbs 1:6-8), the word for fear in the original text was to revere.

Scripture doesn't instruct us to be afraid of the Lord but to revere him.

I know that's just one passage of many about fear, but it is quoted often.

There's a certain reason why it is said that YOU SHOULD FEAR GOD. I felt his wrath real good for some small mistakes. Be careful what you pray for. You never know how he would answer your prayer. If you get no answer from God, consider yourself lucky.

I felt his wrath really well and I'd rather not bother him by praying for anything.

I always ask my guaedian angels to surround me and help others in need. The doors are open by GOD. They protect me when times seem to appear to get hard. I do not have financial needs due to help from the unknown. Things have happened to me you may not believe.
