Like all of you I'm just becoming familiar with the new tool. I don't disagree with what you said its the logical way to approach the problem. But what I have found is logic and random do not mix as far as picking combos. I believe this is where we all struggle that a little bit of randomness has to be introduced or shall we say random logic .

I would suggest everyone practice with the tool every draw. Hopefully one of us will have a breakthrough that they can share with all of us!

Using the Group Tool we would be analyzing Groups by Position.

Well not to bad for choosing 3 out of the 4 groups. I did actually play the pb with the groups i had predicted and with the 4 filters i set had 23 36 55 and 59 all in play over 10 lines with RSG. Best i could put together was a 2 of 3 on 2 separate lines. Will need to use the new group tool to put those together on the same lines. The pb did have a 0 in the winning # as my first choice was 06 not 10, is a work in progress. Nice work Jimmy and Phileight on your input and choices. DLD

I am still working on the other group selector that uses 15 random strings of groups. What I hope to do

is input one group to hit and one to block then let it work out the rest. It's proving to be a real challenge

to code but I will get it worked out. Once we work out the groups for the big games we will turn our focus

My second group setup WPWPWPBBBW versus actual BBPPBPBBBP matched 9 out of 10. Missed Group B.

My sixth group setup BWWWPBBBBP matched 8 out of 10.

Guess I'm always just going to be a 9 out of 10 guy for now for groups.

Not playing group/positions as RL is proposing going forward but just picking B, P, W for groups I feel the sweet spot for Powerball group settings is to have 4 Blocks, 3 Plays, and 3 Wilds.

With respect to the wheels, they were introduced to me by Stack over the past couple of months or I would not even know of them any more than I know of DM. My original objective was not so much to cash in a big prize as it was to prove that BETTER ODDS can be achieved through timing and intuition.

Once I realized that 28 numbers was only 98.820 lines, with stated lottery odds of hitting 5 of 5 every 38.6 draws all I had to do is hit 5 of 5 BETTER than 1 in 39.............

Your right in respect with groups of numbers they sorta do not conflict. Our numbers are arranged in sub-groups for filtering, whereas yours are not. Where we conflict is instead of stopping at 98000 or so combos we go further and set additional filters based on digits and such to reduce to a playable amount instead of of using a 2 if 2 of 28 wheel.

Not saying one is better than the other but I have used wheels before in the past and felt like using wheels just enabled me to lose more money.

Winsum is still a pool member, Steve and I have butted heads before but we always work things out.

We are in contact with each other almost every day and he still makes suggestions. My venting on him

I'm not going to post lines because I am a member of a pool that I am not going to compete against. RL gets our input and he decides whether we play or not and whether to use our input or not. Im only asking you Jimmy because your the first person to post actual lines that can be played. I dont need bonus numbers as I only play one at a time. It doesn't matter to me who posts them as long as it before the draw and it around 41 lines for ether game, MM or PB.

I don't mind posting lines but I am still in my infancy of setting group/digit filters, RL is the Zen master. So play at your own risk because it might be another 30 draws or more before I duplicate that feat again. RL can vouch that I did one group setup of 21 lines that he played on the pool's behalf and the best lines were 1+0. So I have experienced both highs and lows using DMP. Ok, well I dont know the system and only want to play the lines........ If you can post the 39 lines before the drawing I would play them as I have been saying for the last 2 weeks. It so happens that I had the bonus number 8 selected for MM Sat. night (posted on my thread) but didn't have any lines for playing.

I wasn't trying to predict lines I was trying to predict the group filters and I did post 4 group filters setups well before the game and 1 of the 4 groups setups was 9 out of 10 correct. DMP is a different concept you don't pick numbers you pick digits and groups. Its flexible enough so that you can use numbers if you use the wheel option but I don't think you will benefit from it that much if you don't buy into the philosphy or intent of the program which is setting digits and groups versus nu... If the 39 lines were posted before the draw it would be a prediction that people can understand.

I have 41 lines posted on my thread and there is no confusion about what I intend to play, and no one needs to know my set-up or anything else to see what is in play for MM Tue. Oct. 2, 2012.

I count all the selections that did not prevent a 5of5, great job. I have had several ask me if I ever hit a 5of5

on a day when I choose not to play. The first time it was a real bummer but it gets easier. I have gotten several

emails in the past where others done the same and I know the feeling. One guy told me that he had 12 lines

picked and his wife even said she would go pick them up and if memory serves he told her no. I think he even

I understood exactly what and how he described his setup. And if you input the setups as explained the outcome is just as explained. If you do not use or have minimal time with how to use DM you are very right it is hard to understand and will be very frustrating. dld

Actually I had 10 specific filters and got 7 correct. Of the 7 I got correct 6 were group filters. I was 6 of 7 in group filters. If you count the 3 W group filters then you could say I got 9 out of 10 group filters correct and didn't do anything stupid with other filters to prevent some wins.

Well I actually played 5 lines using 3 different group setups for a total of 15 lines. I wouldn't want to play any more lines until I come up with a sound strategy for group filters. Anyway Powerball is just for me its not part of our pool play. It gives me a chance to work on Group filter strategy. My focus now is really on MegaMillions.

In case anyone is curious the following was my setup for 09/29/2012 powerball drawing.

I missed 5 filters, HD, Digit 4, Digit 8, TG, and Group I.

TG was a mistake I meant to play range 3/4 and if another digit 4 had hit instead of a digit 8 I would have got HD, Digit 4, and Digit 8 correct.

Other than Groups D-J I only played specific values (non-ranged) for Digit 2, Digit 4, and TG.

DMP had 6 3+0, and 1 4+0 winners in set of 34.

If we can nail the group filters for MegaM... [ More ]

My best advice would be this:

Under no circumstances spend 2K on Powerball or MegaMillions you will be throwing your money away. I play Powerball on a regular basis and this is only the 3rd 3+0 I have gotten this year. I would play MegaMillions vs Powerball the odds are better and you have a better chance with DMP to reduce the lines down to a playable amount. Play in a pool to defray the costs of buying tickets. I wanna play Powerball or even megamillions (I'm florida resident so never played it) but since I'm actualy in the Navy (yes...but I'm still gonna play and win and say seeyahh ) an in japan for shore duty[I'm the guy that started playing only when I went on leave last in June2012)...I can't physicaly buy them as you may know. I just use the DM tool and look at both the left and right digits, I first try to get the decade digit and then

select a few right digits to go with it. Once you click the Bonus button you can then click the left or right digits

in the stats box and see line graph for the hit's history.
