Carli, The way he did this it's not digit to digit but the whole number, he got these results by using a calculator the one in windows gave me the same results with a negative if you drop th negative in front you get the results here. I think he is looking for a excel sheet which has one column where 9999 is subracted, one where 9999 is added to the 4 digit. The next column would be the piars from these columns. I'm not sure what he is saying about the 6 6/49.

I am an excel novice at best . Can I subract and add to 9999 , yes I can. Can I make pairs of it, yes I can but then everything else is beyond me so better to let someone else try thats better at it than I am

I will give it a try. I appreciate that you work through a translator and I think sometimes we dont appreciate how truely knowledgable you are ,

But I can make no guarentees because its hard for me to put into excel when I test and dont get the same results . I need to be able to duplicate the process before I can put into excel .

Hi. I am a little confused of how you derived at your calcualtions. The first calculation 4214-9999, I got 5785. Perhaps you had a typo? I am just asking because I am really trying to understand this. And for the third calculation, 3875-9999, I got 6124. With that being said, and you just made a typo, is the premise basically to take the last three numbers of the last calculation?
