You probably don't even know there are six different types of box plays each paying off different amounts. The IRS doesn't care which state you live in and winnings over $600 are taxable and a 50 cents 30 box pays $834. I'd really like to see you hit just to see if you could follow the instructions for claiming your winnings.

I'd rather make a math mistake here than forget to play and watch the number I wanted to play being drawn.

The payoffs are correct and all you have to do is divide 50,000 or 25,000 by the number of ways your box can win. I was a big fan of this game when it started in PA about four years ago. Maybe one of these days KY will have it.

The only down side is when you hit a 5, 10, 20, or 30 way box you have to pay taxes even on a 50 cent bet. If you want to play a $1 on a 60 way box, you bette... [ More ]

Wow 21120 Ohio Midday Nov. 30th. Midday How about that smarty47 lol.. I was concentrating on P. 5 numbers too today. I played the wrong one I should of play that I guess that one was the Lottery Ticket I dreamed could of been real.. A box hit would of been cool.. A $1 box is the same as playing 120 straight tickets at 1/120 of the cost and the payoff odds are still $50,000 to $1. If a $1 box payoff was 5%, the payoff would be $20.75, and that's all I'm saying.

With the exception of: 5% of 50,000 is 2500.

Did you hit it 2Xs in a Month I don't think so LOl.. I cash in the Ticket 2 times for him.

Playing $1 box using five different digits is the same as playing 120 straight tickets for .83 of a cent; less than a penny. Multiply the jackpot $50,000 times $.0083 and the payoff is $416.66. The Ohio Lottery is actually paying 34 cents more. If you want a 5% payoff, play $6 box.

People play lottery games for years, tell other how to play lottery games, yet they don't even know how to calculate the payoffs.

What I can understand about the P. 5 New Game they Ohio* pay you 50,000 for a Strait ticket for a dollar.

$1.00 Strait 50,000 Five numbers

$1.00 Box $417 come on now.. 5% would seem better

I would say je06 take a number that you like and stick with it, that is what my husband did and he won 2 x's this month off the number. That is my stradegy good luck. If you play it all the time It is bound to come out that is what you call L.O.A. And you don't need a lot of money just play your one favorite number.

heres a stradegy if you have moola! lots of it..just play all 252 combos (120 ways) Straight play..30 percent of the time these numbers come in..getting them arrainged right, how you do that!?

in about awhile say a month your bound to get a straight!

$252*60 draws=$15,120 to win $50,000.. nice 35k profit.
