I strated about 7 months ago. Most of the time I'll pick up a quickpick when the jackpots get pretty high. I'm learning how to pick more educated from this site currently

Never played the scratch-off tickets but have played the California Superlotto since its inception. I have played off and on and was in a pool for a few years. The last ten years though I have played pretty steady and no more pools.

I have won 3/5 several times and 4/6 and 5/6 once each. I will definitely be getting the 6/6 so I can complete the set

20 plus years. The closest I got to winning the jackpot was 4/6 California lotto, 4/6 Florida lotto and 4/6 Texas lotto. I am still hoping to get that darn 6/6. If it does I will post the winning ticket on lottery post for all to see. Plus I still owe Ridge that case of Jack Daniels Silver select.

I had a past life regression reading recently with Madam Zelda and she told me that in a former life I was a heavy Keno player (original Keno, the one with 80 Chinese characters, not numbers) and did a lot to help finance the Great Wall of China.

She also said I bought a lot of lottery tickets during the American Revolutionary War, a few from George Washinton himself

The idea of using my mathematical skills to win a little money had me from day one. But, I learned over time that it was tougher due to the payout scale and then compounded with preparing all my tickets. Then, I had to run around just get all my tickets played in time. The excitement of knowing that I could win at some point sold me.

I started in late 06.

I did not have money to buy my gf a watch for her birthday, I heard stories of people winning on scratches. So thats how it began for me....

and if your curious if I got her the watch. I DID. $500 on a $2 scratch. Still have that ticket too LOL

I think that my parents got me to play. My mother once bought two tickets for my brother and me when I was 14 or so. The one on my name won 10000 DM for the tv show Der grosse Preis. It seriously pissed me off as you cannot keep the money, you must sign that you refused it and it went to a good cause. ... They say that I will win the jackpot.

prob since i was aged to buy them. mum did it as a kid and tought me about it. then as i got 1st real job i took over and mum and I went halves. as she aged i got brothers and sisters to chip in. been running that syndicate at leas 15 years. i still have the 1st syndicate form i got them to sign some where.

mum hs long passed away, but the numbers we play where half picked by her.

Take 5 kinda lured me in as bait and i've been hooked ever since, i'm captivated.

and these scratch off's are the icing on the cake, I have a hint of addiction, lol.

a bad one you can say, i guess it depends on how you look at it.

I set myself a limit, and hopefully ill reach it soon, so i can stop.

Never gave a thought on the Lottery really. I remember being in school and every so often my father would get a ticket say something like man 70Million I can quit work and be set and you guys to. Though honestly I can only think of two times I saw him get a Florida Lotto ticket. Lol.

Living in Japan but went home to florida around june and july 2012 and...my grandfather got his routine $30,000 scratch off and I just noticed the Powerball logo with the Jackpot and said what the hell an got 20.... [ More ]

I started playing in Ohio sometime in the 1980's, sometime.... too long ago.....

I got 5 out of 6 on the lotto, can't remember what it was called. But it paid $998. That I do remember. I think the jackpot at that time was $250,000.

NC didnt get the lottery til 06...but the very first time I played...I bought two scratch-offs and won 40 dollars driving thru Va...and mailed in my tickets and got a check for 40 bucks sent to me....I was hooked

My first time playing the lottery was in Germany in the early 1970's, the Hessen Lotto. Neat game, was a 6/49 with the Zuzahtspielen - exrtra play bonus ball. If you had 5 of 6 and the Zuzahtspielen # you got paid a loit more than 5 of 6 did.

Didn't get to play again until living in Vegas and going to California to play in the late 1980's, - Nipton, pre-Primm. Have lived in a lottery state ever since then - Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, and Illinois.

Started playing in about 1989 with the Ohio Lottery. I have never been much of a pick 3 or pick 4 kind of person. Over the years I have tracked the pick 6 game off and on, but a lack of success usually leads me to stop tracking and give it up as hopeless. This last year of so, I have really enjoyed tracking the Classic Lottery and while I haven't had much success, it has been a nice experience.

I've been playing for almost 3 years consistently but prior to that only played the Mega Millions when it would get over 100 million. The reason 3 years ago I started playing more regularly was because I was hoping for a miracle win to pay for my daughter's college education (well that never happened, lol).
