I backtested with the Carlig sheet and I tried different things with the program. I took the last three FL p3 draws and used the numbers vertically as follows the first row vertically and the third row(263) as my inputs:

WrightEJW, you're a little off on roots... 1st of all the chart that someone posted was rootsums not roots....

Here's a root: the draw comes out 381 therefore you add each digit individually... 3+8+1=12 and that's your root for a rootsum you do it again like this... for 381 - 3+8+1=12 then 1+2=3... So 12 is your root and 3 is your rootsum. Hope this helps, Pogo

A majority of the members know what a root is on this forum.

I saw something recently about a pick3 basics thread. This could help the new members. However, I have had several pm's saying how easy the sytems are to understand. When I first started on this forum I took the time to try and understand all the terms:vtrac,roots sum last digit , etc. and I'm still learning. The search function works very well and I have used it and spent hours trying to learn and research.

Ok the one were you add up the 3 numbers in the results to get the sum i get with no problem, this one is were i have problems. Were do you get the root number from???????????????? is it from the pick 3 numbers, last 2 numbers? first 2 numbers? one number?...........WHERE

Lakerben this is all well and good and i'm by no means a dummy and we may not be as math savy as you and i know how to cal the root of a number but how are you comming up with these numbers, can you put in some kind of order so we can under stand, the steps you use to get your results.

This gives you the 2 picks to build on for your next few draws.

If you want more just add+1 or -1 to the last digit 170 172 173 174 175 and 826 827 829 820 etc.
