Hey Jeff - honestly I think that would be more trouble than its worth because of all of the legal paperwork involved since no one knows each other and were in different parts of FL. I'm already up to 16 tickets and it'll probably be twice that by the end of the month. Also, how would you weigh the worth of a ticket bought before 12/23 which is technically entered to 2 drawings vs. a ticket bought after which is only good for the GP drawing? I just re-read the rules and it looks like every ticket purchased from the start to the end will be in the running for the $2M GP, but they are also still in the running for another 500+ second prizes from $1k to $100k too! Not bad...

Lottonovice...you may also want to think of it another way.. If you were to be put into the drawing when all tickets sell out, then your chances are 1 in a million (or 2 or 3 depending on the number of tickets that you purchase). The odds are significantly better if very few people buy, this way the odds are more like 1 in 100,000.. Does that make sense?

Additionally, if for the December 31st (2Million drawing and the additional $100,000 prizes) if only 750,000 people buy, then your odds agai... [ More ]

I usually don't like those enter-your-number features, because you can't see if you were close to any of the numbers drawn. Plus, people make typing mistakes all the time, so if you type the number wrong, you will get wrong advice as to whether you won or not.

On top of this, when the numbers are displayed out of order (like the Fla Lottery website does), you also can't see if you were close to any number drawn.

For some reason, the Florida Lottery lists the results in drawn order, making it difficult to check your tickets.

On the other hand, Lottery Post's Florida Lottery Results page displays the raffle results in numeric order, making it simple to check your tickets. Lottery Post also shows the store names and towns in a much-easier-to-read mixed case font.
