I seen a kid maybe 7 or 8 drop about 4 or 5 dollars into one of those operate a crane and catch a prize machine. That is a gambling on the odds deal.

Kids sit in these game rooms and drop loads of money into a machine to beat the odds.

Lottery is entertainment too.

Old enough to have money old enough to spend it.

Kids make enough money they are taxed on it too even if they are a minor. Should have the same right as anyone.

Be careful....... The play slip acceptor is sometimes NOT accepting even though the bill acceptor is accepting with all fervor......... and its impossible to get a refund once the money is in the machine.

I have learned to insert a play slip and wait for a please insert money messege.......

Not in AZ, anyone can walk up to any of the vending machines at any time and use them. I'm not sure if they have a camera in them like an ATM machine but I wouldn't be surprised.

I tried one of those lottery vending machines in Harris Teeter's tonight....you have to scan your driver's license to use it...after verifying your age then you can play...or rather buy your tickets

I dont think kids under the age of 18 should play the lottery. That said, it is the young people of legal age that should be playing. (But they should play responsibly)

Most kids work part time jobs after school, and work full time during the summer.

That's how I earned my money. I was responsible with it by buying school clothes and supplies, some went into savings, the rest for marble bets.

No kid should be buying mind altering drugs or alcohol. That's strictly for adults, who are legally allowed to alter their minds.

Why not allow our younger citizens to get in on the action? As long as parents are on board, where's the harm?

This could mean extra billions per year in generating extra state revenue, and potentially huge windfalls for some lucky minors.

Reward the well behaved kids who have top grades, don't do drugs, and show aptitudes for understanding the lottery games and odds.
