Last night the lady in front of me when buying her tickets was asked if she wanted the power play . She asked what it was and was told it will double all your winnings so she added the power play to her tickets. When she left she told her daugter if they won the jackpot they will get double that amount and not the $550 million that other people would get

Ha.. there was surprisingly a line at my normal gas station... They have 2 registers ... Somebody walked in and got in the short line (a teenager) and the lady in front of me popped off to him.... She was probably n her late 40's... But I was just standing there wondering why nobody in front of me had moved to the short line ... So I took it upon myself to do so

Craziest thing I saw today. During my morning walk, I went into a c-store to get a Hot Lotto. Old guy at the counter playing scratchers. I wanted to ask him why he wasn't buying Powerball but decided to mind my own business.

Ha, a tobacco store I used to buy at started asking everyone if they had money to pay for it before they'd print the ticket. That annoys me so I don't go in there anymore. Surprised they don't make you pay ahead of time, cuz of course everyone thinks they have the money and would just say yes. Then figure it out when they go to pay that they don't have what they thought they did.

I wish someone who lives in Orlando would go to the Publix store @ University and Dean and buy the tickets for $300, that someone ordered, but couldn't pay. The employees behind the counter are really trying to get rid of them. They are QP's.

The one person in front of me today asked for a powerball ticket and while it was printing said How much is it? A dollar? Obviously a first time buyer or a very rare buyer.

I've never seen a real line or anything crazy for a big jackpot. I did once see somebody spend $100 on pick 4, but the vast majority of what I notice is people spending less than $5, and a handful spending $5 to $10.

I ve been on a Buying Frenzy since Monday,

every time I'm at the Store I'll get a Q-Pick (just one)

anyway I'm up to 7 Quick-picks

and still have to do my own usual 5 picks

When I was at the store and it was my turn, I handed the clerk my ticket,

and she JUmped Up and Ran to the little stand where you fill out tickets.

I thought it was UNUSUAL, but the machine had just run out of Paper

I thought to my mmmmm..... Brand New Paper.
