I would recommend emptying your wallet before you wash it next time.

Just give the contents a light dusting while the wallet is in the washing machine.

And use the Gentle cycle, no bleach, dry on low heat.

I think I would've asked for another ticket....This is strange...

Did anyone ever see the article about the lady that purchased two tickets with 10 quick picks on each and the quick pick numbers were the same on both tickets??? I forgot which lottery is was for, but both ticket quick picks had the same set of numbers!! Makes me wonder how these lottery machines actually generate the numbers....last i read was the lottery commission were investigating....

they may put up a little more fuss over a $550 million prize, than a few $100 ticket. id scan the barcoade now, and see if it can actually read anything.

if not id call the lotto comission. and ask their advice,

its just i know here, the barcde reader usually says draws remaining , or cannot claim yet, if there is draws remaining.

I had the same thing happen just this past Monday on a Pick 3 ticket. The clerk said as long as they can type in the serial

number above the barcode, there should be no problem cashing it. In a related story, long story made short, I washed my

wallet. So I decided to dry all my papers, and money in the micro wave rather than under a lamp. And there was no problem

Weird because the whole ticket has been inked perfect just the numbers are cut off I do not know as along as the bar code will read im good even if the jackpot is not mine and i win a 2nd or 3rd top prize i still want my cash with no asterisks next to it

as long as the barcode is readable he should be okay. All the information is stored in the bar code. Personally, I'd pick some other place to buy my ticket, there is something wrong with that store's printer.
