You should have bought lottery insurance, it cost $2 per line but well worth it if you lose.

I was self insured, I put aside $2 for every line I played.

When being exited about potential win/not win, people tend to accidentally skip some numbers, and do not notice small wins while checking their tickets. My gentle advice is: recheck your tickets carefully later in a day, when excitement subsided, I bet you'll find one or two more numbers matching. Also, check the game rules, since they differ for different games. Do not assume that matching extra ball means nothing, only because it is so in another game.
