Usually when i go fishing its on a charter boat, so they do all the filleting and and hook removal for you!

But I have seen a tool similar I suppose to the one you made! I was too afraid to put in the fishes and mouth and spin it,

Still looking for a better way to get the str8's, I like to wheel , right know in mich, I am looking for 29-41 pairs, sum 14 way over due. so I'll wheel 239 and 149, If sum 14 falls , let's say 806 falls, Then I may box all the 23 pairs the next day, only 10 numbers, It a matter of good record keeping and paying attention., or I may box all sum 14, only 15 numbers.

You can try finding the standard deviation, one movement from the mean in the bell curve.

The sum of X minus X bar, divided n-1 squared,

Or you can try keeping track of sums and pairs

Example, in Tenn, I was looking for 50, 59 58 Pairs sum 13 or 14

LB, I have struggled in the past, myself, trying to understand all the sophisticated terminologies used here as well. My personal advice to you on all that stuff...DISREGARD IT AND THOSE THAT PROMOTE IT. Why? All it does is confuse the hell out of someone trying to honestly understand and learn how to run numbers.
