I was close once. With ten picked numbers I had picked five and the complimentary number for the national 6/42+C. I had five in one line, in dollars around $2,400. The year before I had several 5/10, but it payed only 4/6's with 3/6, for $150 payout when the 4/6 payout was good. My 4+C's paid 4/6 at the time. The new payout honors the 4+C.

IMHO, you need to adopt a workout, mine for instance, and stick with it.

I don't win all the time, but that doesn't deter me from trying.

My wins come often enough to make all the work worthwhile.

Worrying about what other people are doing is a dead-end street.

You assume when someone predicts they have to be correct. If they knew the outcome of an event before it occurred, it wouldn't be a prediction, it would be a fact. Predictions are assumptions based on knowledge of past results or reasoning.

Touching a red hot stove with your bare hands will burn you is a fact. Touching a stove with your bare hands will burn you is a prediction (if you don't know if the stove is hot or cold) but a wise assumption.

You do have a point there. He was exercising his PEF. So I guess my example wasn't exactly on point. I am just encouraging you not to get caught up in the idea of bad luck.

LP has over 100k members and only a handful to date have won 6 figures or more from the lottery. The odds are what they are.

Focus your energies on picking those numbers.

I cant waste energy on things thats draining im past that seriously i really mean that.

So i dont know what else too say no smart response i mean no double sided smart response.

You are too much of a technical thinker to fall prey to superstitious beliefs.

I read a lot of people on here from time to time who talk about jinxing one's chances when others make bold claims that they'll will the jackpot.

You often see this when jackots are really high.

I read a winner's story where this guy went around telling everyone that he has to win the lottery by the end of the year AND HE DID.

Did him making that claim cause it to happen? I don't think... [ More ]

CinCin i agree thats only if ur looking at too many things ok would u guys agree that cause and effect plays a role in the lottery?

The reason why ask about cause and effect is this.

Say for instace u dont play the lottery and ur number comes up but u wanted to play.

But ur mindframe is that if u played it wouldnt have came DID THAT EFFECT THE LOTTERY THAT DAY???????????????????????????

The only way a person or their system can predict lotto numbers is if they can somehow access the lottery balls or machine and manipulate the results ie: cheat.

Do people really think they can come up with a system that somehow predicts lottery numbers in a way other than I stated above? Luck = randomness.

Lottery systems are living organisms. They evolve with tweaking and revisions over time as you learn more about the game.

There is no empirical evidence to date that supports buying at a certain time or on a certain day or in a certain place would improve the odds of winning.

I would like to say playing the lottery is a stressful process.

Its even more stressfull if u watch the drawings i would save

myself the pain from watching.

My few questions for people out there i would like to get feedback.

On ur views on if u have a system but ur system produces no wins.

Do u decide if u should trash the system or not?

Also i would like u guys views on if buying lottery tickets

at the last minute is the best bet?
