Welcome Loopie77! As omiller mentioned, I think PA lottery has gone downhill. I live in NE PA and scratch offs around here have been cold, but lately people in my area have been winning on the cash 5 and other jackpot drawings. Unlike omiller, I find that the best tickets are the first six or seven in a roll. I only play from machines though. Cashiers in my area tend to ticket watch.

Another thing I like to do. If you goto places where you can see ticket #'s ahead of time(like the counters, not the machines). If I see a $5 roll with 10 or fewer left, I will finish the pack. I have gotten enough rolls, or ended rolls, over the past year or two and seems there is generally a $20-$40 near the end. Generally even in the last 5. Of course it isn't a fail safe, but it limits my spending to $25 without the feel to chase since the roll is over. I do that alot on other denominations... [ More ]

In years past the holiday ones paid well. This year has been HORRID JUNK. Your cousin is right as well. Usually the 2nd chance and Life tickets are the worst to accomodate for the extra prizes or the Life payouts. However as a whole, PA has gone down hill. I would say it started around early summer time if you ask me. Casino Cash was the last good $20 ticket. Instant Millions was hot when it first came out(like tickets generally are). Whats up everyone! New to the blog and fairly new to the lottery I live in Pa and I just started about a month ago with scratch offs I'ev been playing the Holiday games that came out but they dont seem to produce any kind of wins all losers My other favirote is Crosswords or Wordrama I'ev done well with them.
