I hate getting change back from machines when buying a Metro rail ticket because it comes in form of golden dollars. I gues they are nice when you're going to be taking the Metro busses, but if you're not then you get stuck with annoying coins you want to get rid of asap.

I don't mind $2 bills though. Of course I rarely get them so that might be why.

I used to participate in that site, but I don't anymore. I still get Emails on my old bills though, sometimes they still turn up.

As for consecutive serial numbers, some members get straps of new bills from their banks that are numbered consecutively. It was fun, but after doing it for almost a decade, I decided it was time to quit. If I find marked bills, I still enter them, but don't do any of my own bills anymore.

That would be cool and it might inspire people to keep the faith that America can overcome this humongous mess we're in now. We did it after Jimmy Carter and we'll do it after this guy too.

I think someone got them from the bank and stamped them, which seems like an awful idea considering thet $2. never really circulate any more than $1 coins do.

One person had logged it in on wheres george 8 miles away from here. Had to be the person who stamped it because it is still in mint condition.

Perhaps we could take turns mailing it to each other and logging it in....

I did not have to join anything to log it in, so no big deal.

I used to enter bills all the time. Only got a couple hits out of hundreds of bills so I got bored and quit.

When I worked at the Golden Nugget in Vegas we got $2 bills included in our toke envelops pretty often.

something strange here, two $2 bills for change and they have consecutive serial #s, appear to be in perfect condition and have that

where's george. com stamp on them, have you checked that site ? sometimes ppl. mention what they spent the bills on.

Maybe you'll find that these bills have been used before to by lottery tix.

BTW, have not seen these in person in years, did'nt know they were still in circulation.

I've been collecting scrap metal in my spare time (or really whenever I 'm driving around and see it ).

I'll Cash it in, when I get so much of it, and then go to the Coin Shop and buy

some Better Metal ... Silver Eagles, or Silver Panda's.

Anyway ...at the Scrap Yard they ALWAYS give $2 Dollar Bills

When I asked them Why ????? They said they were for

Luck!!

So Now when I go ,,,, Iask for them

I just stopped at the QT Station for $15. in JP game tickets and received two $2. bills and a $1. bill in change for my $20. I dont know if I should be happy or mad until I discover if the lottery vending machine accepts $2.
