The staff at the Florida Lottery have listened and will be making Mega Millions available in Florida as of May

15th, according to tweets seen on their website.

I emailed the FL Lottery, here was their response, Dear Florida Lottery Player,

Thank you for writing the Florida Lottery. In response to your email, the Florida Lottery is always looking for new products to offer our players; and MEGA MILLIONS is one of those games under consideration, even though no decisions have yet been made.

hopefully Florida does and it helps with the jackpot rising faster. Same with California for Powerball, getting tired of the minimum 10 million increases until the jackpot is a tad over 100 million

I took that same survey! I can now stop sending emails to the Florida Lottery Headquarters

asking that they take Mega Millions on.

Now if only I could get one of those cool Florida Lottery tee shirts that they are giving away through

Facebook. Deleted my account months ago....

The latest Florida Lottery Flamingo Forum consumer survey highlighted Mega Millions questions including how best to distinguish Mega Millions from Florida's current Mega Money game, probably requiring a name and logo change for Mega Money to reduce confusion in Florida over the two games once Mega Millions goes live...
