I read the article from the virginia website and it is interesting that they both said they will continue to work even after taking the cash option on their prize. They both must love their jobs and even though they got a lot of money to retire on. I think I would take a vacation!-weshar75

Dunno about VA, but in Idaho you can use a play slip in the vending machines to get your own numbers. Or you can scan a losing ticket to replay the same numbers. Or you can just punch a button for a QP.

Isn't a QP the only option for those machines? Never tried one. More QPs win because most people do QP's. My QPs are usually so terrible I might as well get 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I will take my own numbers except when you can't like a free ticket for Decades of Dollars (if you have 2 numbers).

There is an update on the VA lottery site. The couple was from Fredericksburg VA and claimed it today. There is a pic of them in front of the lottery machine in the airport.

Yea Virginia!! VA had like 9 2nd place winners in the past 9 weeks and I even bought a ticket or two in VA vs DC. I read somewhere it was bought at the Richmond airport? So the person could be from anywhere. Virginia does not allow anonymous claims or trusts so we will find out who it is eventually.

It really doesn't matter who won, but I hope whoever won seeks out a tax accountant and is content with paying more than his/her fair share of taxes. It might also be a good idea to buy an AR-15, a tricked out armored Lincoln, and a new pad with a safe room.

That being said, I do hope the winner was someone who voted for the other guys not in the WH (before anyone hurls a racism charge at me, STOP! I am an American Black man!).

No....why would you wish that on someone??....On the other hand I wonder if they did a movie about Dave Edwards....would people want or even actually want to watch it?? I kinda would especially if they did a both sides of the story type thing...Where he would tell his side and others would elaborate on it.....hmmm interesting
