I did manage to catch it twice boxed because I saw it on another workout and confirmed with yours.

Yeah, I was burned by that once... I ended up following your example. I played boxed and straight. At least I got my money back. I don't count boxes as wins because it's just plain luck. I built the system for straights and never really kept track of box wins. So I'm playing the same sets tonight. I've only been doing this for a month or so. It seems like if they don't hit within a few days, it's better to just pick new sets rather than trying chase down a deviation. I keep trying new things to... [ More ]

Does anyone have FL's Pick 4 numbers? I'm interested in seeing how well this system works for Pick 4, if it can make that jump. I just need some historical data to back test on. Excel will work fine. I just need a format along the lines of: Date, Draw (mid/eve), Position 1, Position 2, Position 3. If anyone has something close to that, and is willing to share, I'd appreciate it. See, 8-2-5... off by one digit on one position, again. I should've played it boxed. The odds are just way too against me to win Mid and Eve on the same day. That's a tough nut to crack. Ironically, if I had chosen a deviation of 50, it was 8-2-5 exactly. Oh well, win some, lose some. Tomorrow is another day.

Ok, here's the new workout. I'm still using the two that didn't hit but replacing the one that did. If anyone actually plays these, keep in mind that I have yet to win both Mid and Eve in a single day. So the odds are really against me here. More than half of the time, it's been one digit off of one position. Like the gods of randomness are just trying to prove something. ;) In any case, here are the new numbers:

Deviation: 33

Base set #1: 201

Always straight. Straight is luck/system. Box is just plain luck.

Just keep in mind that I do the +/- 1 because the system is based on deviations. How much each position deviates from previous draws in that position. The base sets do hit from time to time but not near as much as applying a wheel to it. I've had the most luck with +/- 1 on each position. But it gets really frustrating to see how often hits happen when you start thinking about mirrors on each position. I drove myself crazy with... [ More ]

That group of sets I shared a few posts back had a hit. The bad news is that the actual hit was 204. That set was removed from the group when I filtered the nubmers down. I was filtering out all evens, all odds and the first/last 5 sums. I was over $700 in my account so I got ballsy and played the day for $2 a set. Cost a small fortune but the win would've been $1800. Sadly, I saw 2-0-5 but no 2-0-4... So now I'm not filtering my sets anymore. I'm also back to playing off of three base sets. It... [ More ]

I was on your site and noticed lottolaughs winter wonderland isn't working on the compare page, but it does work on the pick 3

I didn't know if you noticed that, I tried unchecking some thinking it was too many numbers but that didn't work

Ideally, it would work for any game. There would be two concerns. First, with less draws (like a pick 6 game), the system would be less accurate. Second, the base set has to be wheeled in some way to get hits more frequently. So when you add positions, you add more combinations. It might be doable on a Pick 4 game but I'd imagine Pick 5+ would simply cost too much to play.

As I said, the version that's on the site is different than the one I use. So the numbers you get differ from what I've posted before. The reason is that the script takes far too long to churn through 300 deviations and then match that against X of days. The script would timeout or simply bog down the SQL server, especially if more than one person was running the page at a time. The version I have up there is close to what I have but runs much quicker.

For example, the #540 appeared on the left side when I entered 02/16/13 of FL's P3 on the right side.

I'm not sure what's the #540? A base set from the deviation we selected? or Root #? or Deviation #?

How can we get the nice prediction combs for next draw by using the only #?

It's not good to +/- 1 for each position by making some backtests from Jan. 01 to Feb. 01. of FL's P3.

Also, FL's P3 MID Drawing today is 461. I had 471, 481. and 491 from the 14... [ More ]

The 17th and 18th aren't working because I haven't imported those draws yet (and I don't have any error control built in for draws with no data, just haven't had the time). I'm re-coding the update code, once again, so the draws import correctly. When I'm done, it will allow more states to be added easier (long as they don't follow NY's trend...) and quicker.
