I was just checking to see how often numbers hit in consecutive draws when I found this<br /><br />and thought it interesting. Powerball and other pick 5 and 6 lottery they have the advantage mathematically, they pay only a percentage of the take so they and Uncle Sam always get there cuts no matter who wins. So, to me that would indicate that the lottery is not rigged -- it would certainly not indicate that it is rigged in any way. It is SUPPOSED to happen a few times per year. (According to the odds, it should happen 2-3 times midday and 2-3 times evening every year in Maryland.</p>]]></description>
