I think rather they'd want to move from those places, not California in general.

However, I'm giving up the state for a bit to be back in Texas. California definitely lacks things I miss from Texas, and thankfully I'll be in Texas for spring/summer so I'll miss out on things like the blizzard that just hit. I know I'll definitely be missing it here once I'm back in Texas (which I think I'll always want to be in the state I'm not currently in).
