Its not called the Golden State for nothing, come April California will be joining the winning streak of winning the PB as well. l say not a moment too soon.

Consider this: While the majority of other States have had PB for many years and have won, l say its about time. Not too worry, Californians will not be winning every PB jackpot- a bone or two will be tossed out ever so now and then... one can always hope.

Cali wins their share of mega millions jackpots just like new york and I think that cali will still win their share of powerball jackpots but they don't win all the time so that is what I am hoping for when they join. To win a couple each year like new york but not all of the jackpots so other states can win like my state oregon. Don't forget that florida will get mega millions later this year so they may take some of new york and cali's jackpots too.-weshar75

I really think that California could have a winner in the first few weeks of PB since that is when the most tickets will be sold. I know people who normally don't play (or play occasionally) that are planning on buying PB when it starts here. And if the JP is $100 million or higher when we start in April, watch out......

i think its a wealthy populous state. more people more money. well the states broke, but a lot of economy is generated there. you have a lot of people they will buy a lotto of lotto tickets. especially if there is a fair amount of wealth. i assumer higher house prices = wealthey people. more economy.

As someone who has lived their entire life in California, I know that many do have miscondeptions about our great state. Of course that is true for just about every state in the union. What do you think of when you hear the state Arkansas? (dueling banjo music?) Nevada? (casinos and gambling?)
