The odds of breaking even depend of the payout distribution and the game dimensions. By odds and payouts a lottery game is average lost. For the winners it is a good investment, for the loosers it is a waste of money. There are not enough cheap games where you can play for 25 or 50 cents. Give poor people a chance to play! Those results seem to suggest the odds of breaking even are about the same regardless of the type of lottery game you play. It's just a matter of whether you want to waste your money chasing a $50 or a million dollars prize.

I added a first pick3 code to my program, a kind of farer developed straight Vtrac. I will eventually develop a sort of lotto Vtrac next week. So far I only use one filter on pick3 and will adapt it for pick4 and pick2. Trying to get it right.

The last time something like that was seriously tried was in Virginia over twenty years ago by an Australian group. They made out play slips and took over three Seven Eleven store terminals for three days. They managed to buy over eight millions lines which did include the jackpot winning combinations but afterwards most states put in places rules which should prevent that ever happening again.

If one desired to maximize their expected winnings and minimize the number of duplicate tickets for Classic that is the number of quick picks they would need to purchase. Personally I would never attempt to purchase that many by myself. Terminals here have a cutoff of $5,000 per hour so I would hire a crew.

Last year LP news had a story about the Michigan couple who went to Massachusetts to take advantage of their WindFall game roll down by buying over 300,000 quick picks which to do they had to take over the terminals at two different stores for two days. By yourself, you couldn't buy that many quick picks if you stood at a terminal all week.

Talking tickets, I spent last week around 40 euros, that's more than 50 dollars I think. The weeks before I played a bit less. I can do that because I won something nearly every drawing at keno. I also won with joker and yesterday with lotto. I keep it in balance. I don't play Euromillions. An affordable game is getting fresh air, the other games cost money. I don't use Excel and have no desire to learn it or own a copy of it. Besides, creating a wheel that size with that condition using CoverMaster would lock up my computer for weeks. My work ups have to be quick and affordable.

I'll be using a similar set of numbers developed from last night's drawing to filter the 10 lines I'll play for Wednesday drawing. Since #22 has only been the lowest number in three OCL drawings, the list will be slim for the lower positions.

I suggest that you use Covermaster and generate a dense wheel of roughly 49 numbers. Maybe a 5 if 5.

Paste the numbers in Excel or your own program and apply your most resonable filters until you get a playable amount of combinations.

Fill in the tickets, or print the lines with your program and printer.

Validate the tickets and cash in after the drawing.

This information is worth cash.

Back in February I came close to matching 6/6 when I matched 5/6 using a similar strategy with 10 lines, I guess I got lucky.

I don't really track these numbers, I wrote a program that uses my regular data files to count and record which numbers followed which number and the trends at the time. Then looking at the trends and numbers in the last drawing I pick combinations with numbers in those positions following the most likely trend. I think the best system is to anticipate that something will happen and than choose the right timing for betting it. As in all even numbers as an example, even though the probability is low the odds can be BETTER if the timing is right. It make me think of the girl who anticipate that When the MM jackpot is at $112 Million, I will win . The timing was right, she bought a ticket that day and won. Easy, right

Looking at the output and because of the wheel design, the first five number are in the first line. So if you go low to high, you'll have lines with four or more low numbers and you go high to low, you'll have four or high numbers the same line. It would be very difficult to get a consistent number distribution using a large combo wheel, but you don't want to have several lines with four numbers from the same decade or four consecutive numbers either.

and it's hard to wheel that many lines that stay within those parameters.

It would be very difficult for an individual to play that many numbers and lines using a positional wheel and just as difficult using the large line wheel I suggested.

Seeing this reminded me that I used to keep track of numbers playing by position for all the jackpot games in Tx and MM and PB. I never got close to winning anything with that system and when my old computer crashed it took all those files with it, I never tried to rebuild them.

Yes especially if you wouldn't feel foolish after spending $1227 and only matching 3 for $2 or worst winning nothing. $20 is the max I can spend and not feel foolish about winning nothing or very little.

Besides, I ran a program that based on previous drawings predicts at least four of the numbers of the winning combination will be in these positions:

I just ran a 4 if 4 of 25 number wheel and it has 1227 combinations. Considering the size of the jackpot and the secondary $1500 prize, it might not be a bad bet.
