$80.00 not 50 for a fixed boxed payout and and average of 80 in a parimutuel payout in some states. Doubles pay more for boxed.

$150 payout online, and more for doubles.

I stopped carrying cash on me as of the last few years, but when I did I just put my change everyday in a jar...and then at the end of the week or month or whatever I used that money for something I wanted...like lottery tickets or what ever...

Admittedly pick3 has the best odds of winning its top prize for a dollar but it's only $50 for a box hit and $500 for a straight. Since it's one of most states profitable games I assume more money is lost by its players than any of the other games. Besides if $50 will change your life, a part time job at Wal-Mart might be better.

First, never borrow money to play the lottery.

Bet the absolute minimum to have a chance.

Take care of business in your life as your first priority.

Accept the fact that only a tiny, miniscule, microscopic fraction of us are ever going to experience a life-altering win.

And live your life accordingly.

The lottery should be a fun hobby and pastime, not an obsession.

Which lottery? I'm sure that if someone does have a way to win it, they sure wouldn't pm anybody. If you're on a fix income then the only game that has the best odds for you to win something is the Pick 3 game.

Rather than waiting for someone to PM you, you would be better off putting on your thinking cap and try coming up with a plan on your own. You can use the prediction board to test that plan which will cost you nothing and when you're winning on the prediction board you'll be ready for real time. Good luck to you.

While I'm out running every day, I always manage to find a couple bucks a week in change on my running route.

A few months back I found a five dollar bill, it was in bad condition, but I was still able to use for my lotto picks.

Try taking up running or walking if you don't already. There's lots of free money out there just waiting to be picked up.

Now that's what I call a low investment.
