I saw that too but can't seem to find anything about that story on the actual New York Lottery website.

Maybe the official payout records they have posted are wrong? It does seem to be an unusually high total payout for a double number.

New York 2912 midday 11-22-09 shows a total of 2018 winners, 150 exact order, total payout $4,235,539.00

Mr. Harvey probably did take the lion's share but can't figure the math since 150 exact order tickets amounts to only $750,000.00

When you google the story. The winner is holding a check for $3.5 million from the New York Lottery. In Florida the cap is $5 million for payouts.

sounds a little fishy to me. New York Lottery web site shows only 150 exact order winners for 2912 midday draw 11-22-2009. But he allegedly had 700 tickets for 2912 exact order ?

on rare occasions 20.00 st and 1.00 box

some numbers i play 50/50

some numbers 1.00 st 50 box

Do anyone remember the unbelieveable story from 2009 when William Harvey played the same number str8 for $700 and won $3.5 million. The number was his mother birthday (2912) who he dreamed about. Who needs to win the lottery win you can kill'em on the pick 4.

I play $2 - $5 straight. I like going for a big hit.

If I'm playing a triple in the number then I might play $1 boxed. But it's rare.

Pick 4...I play straight tickets at .50 however many times I want them and boxed tickets at $1 or .50

.50 straight wins $2,500 and can be collected at the time of turn in and claim form submission.

In Ontario,There's No Combination Play.Either Straight Or Boxed.

For Singles I Play Boxed;When Doubles Are Due I Play Both Boxed And Straight.

I usually play doubles $3 straight and $3 box on six separate tickets. Learned the tax lesson the hard way when I won on a straight/box ticket and had to pay taxes on the box win.
