If it had CA Lottery label, it would be more likely to be stolen.

But I wonder if the envelope is lost in the mail, what would they do to recover it or track it down? Pretty difficult if it doesn't have a tracking number on the envelope or something. Would they send you a new check and cancel the old check

No there are no marking outside the envelope.. I thought this was some refund from IRS initially ..lol ! The envelope said CA STATE - DISBURSEMENT DEPARTMENT or something like that...LOL

He tore apart the winning ticket by accident. It is very ironic, most lottery jackpots winners wished that they tore the winning ticket apart. LOL

I have won more than $400.00 w/ Fantasy 5 and l needed no Cheque. Its cashed at ANY convenient store that has the money on hand.

You have no idea- they ramping the ads up bigtime, its as though this is the very first lottery game in the State. They have gone so far as to showing one a video on how to pick numbers play, instead of just saying follow the same line of tbought in playing as MM.

The couple you see in picture 2 were cashing a $1000 win on a scratcher :-) I talked to them after they had completed all the formalities..

I did not try any store. I thought I will take this opportunity to actually visit my closest local office which is about 18 miles from where I live (Stevenson Ranch CA).

There was no vending machine there. But there was a scanner you can use to validate your tickets.

I accidently tore the scratcher to 4 pieces..They gave me a scotch tape to stick it back together, then filled a claim form, copy of my CA drivers license and a note on a notepad saying that I accidently tore the ticket. They took copies of everything and gave copies to me and took the originals. And said I will get a check in 4 to 6 weeks..

I think they need a new Powerball banner, I guess the sun toasted it and made it curl up. Did you manage to get your 100USD win from the ticket.

So I had to go to local office as I accidently tore a $100 scratcher(my biggest win so far in any league) last evening :-( This was my first visit to a local lotto office and i imagined myself in the line with a $1mil plus ticket in hand someday in the future.
