I bought 12 tickets all different ones from the same store. All of them were losers. Very disappointing. Oh well....there is always next weekend.

No vacation but I spent $13 this week on scratch offs and we had a $15 winner and a $4 one. We are going to buy ten $1 ones, one $5 and two $2 ones. I will post later this weekend how it turned out. Usually the second round we get zilch.

I buy 6 to 8 one and two dollar ones during the week and then my husband and I scratch them on the weekend. We take turns like we are opening Christmas presents. LOL.

Since we only play in Texas we scratch there that way if we win can cash them in instead of waiting till the next time we go back.

I usually wait at least 24hrs... helps to stem the bleeding so to speak. Also, I don't want to be that guy feverishly scratching at the register, totally oblivious to the line of folks patiently waiting in line behind trying to buy their goods

It really varies for me. I usually would buy scratch tickets and wait a week or more to scratch them, that was a way for me to buy less tickets. Each day after work would tell myself that I have scratch tickets at home so don't need to spend anymore money that day buying any. I always see people here in the UK scratch them in the store on the lottery stands, but the owners get annoyed because of all the latex haha. If I played scratchers I would take them home, I would probably buy the crossword or the bingo ones as they take longer to do and more enjoyable.
