They printed over 65 million tickets, i play alot, too much as a matter fact, but it seems to me what they do is find stores (mom and pop) in areas that carry just about all the games they have going and continually feed them with horrible books of tickets. the stores I play at always had BDB, 200 million spect, casino action, high roller, yet when you play them thinking odds are ever increasing in your favor to hit something, you dont. Does anyone know where to find out how many BDB tickets were printed and how many were sold? Also, where are the rules as to what they have to do with the unsold alloted jackpot money, when they prematurely end a game? I called the Miami Lotto office yesterday and was given the same BS about not enough sales to support the remaining large prizes, and the hard to scratch off complaints. Actually, the odds for Billion Dollar Blockbuster weren't good at all. Sure, the odds at a million were the best chance at hitting money like that, but the odds at the lower-tiered prize levels were awful. That's what is so deceptive and despicable about this whole situation--the only benefit for BDB was that you had a better chance at hitting a million dollars. The FL excuse is complete bs. They knew that the odd were too good and will not be able to earn enough profit due to the pay outs. I bet someone got fired after the game was release with such nice odds.

Yep it's BS....I did well on BDB-now what??? I played flamingo and broke even....tried the $5 games and lost $40-

I guess I'll try GRT since others have done well-

Figures the FL lottery would pull the only game with lots of winners out there...

I think it's BS that the lottery said the BDB game wasn't popular-well no sh**...I could never find it...I had to drive 15 miles to a food mart that still carried it.

This is unbelievable, if they would have released prizes people would have kept buying, I have never hit over a hundred on this game, just losing ticket after losing ticket. They hoarded all the winning tickets to the point of people stop buying them...what next to go spectacular, i buy them all the time and end in the same result..loser after loser.

check out the remaining prizes on FL site (i tried to include the link but got a stupid warning thinking i was spamming)

and tell me if you were to play BDB or game 1109 (1MM Monopoly) or say, 1063, 3MM monopoly, or 1133, 1136, 1144, 1152, or 1159, etc., based on remaining grand prizes, which would YOU want to play?

I finally received an answer from the lotto office about the BDB:

In response to your email, in March of this year, the Lottery made the decision to remove the Billion Dollar Blockbuster ticket from Lottery retailer s orderable games inventory. Month after month, we see the Florida Lottery posting about record-breaking sales of scratch-offs. Now they are eliminating the one game that still had 70 prizes of a million, and 5 prizes of 10 million???? That's a bare minimum of $120 million dollars that will be unavailable to the people who play scratch offs. That's an entire game full of prizes, and it's the hook for that particular game. Other than the fact that BDB has been out for a few years making it one of the oldest games still current (until today that is), it doesn't make sense to pull it. It still showed plenty of major prizes outstanding. Compare that to a bunch of other scratchers that have ZERO grand prizes left but yet they are still available for sale.

I agree. The F.L. has some explaning to do. Although I don't think any explanation is going to hold water. Just a lame excuse most likely.

So when did FL Lottery decide to pull BDB? They typically list the games ending soon months before they end. bDB was not listed as of a couple days ago. It maybe listed now ( I didn't check). I don't see how they could end a game with so many winners left. I know the last few times I played was dud after dud. So on top of all duds they were hard to scratch. This was my favorite game to play - sparingly I might add. Compared to all the other $20 tickets, this one had the best odds and most grand prizes available. That's the only reason why I played it. The looooong shot chance of getting a BIG ONE. As it was, I did really good on this game. Recently won $100 and $30 on 2 of 3 tickets purchased over the past 2 weeks. The link to BDB on the Florida Lottery website is gone and the mention of the game on the Ending Games page shows the BDB name with no active link.

So, by ending it early with a lot of prizes left, instead of Billion Dollar Blockbuster, I guess it was more like $100 Million Dollar Blockbuster.

It's like they are distancing themselves from this game and want it to go away.

New mantra required of the masses:

I just got off the phone with the Florida Lottery customer service number and I was told that as of the 17th of this month this game will end. There will be no re-launch either but maybe a similar game with similar prizes. She also told me that due to the amount of complains about the BDB ticket being hard to sratch that they decided to end it. If that happens, it will be BS. There were still like 70 prizes of $1 Million, and 5 of the $10 Million....I never hit even $500 on that game, and it was the least-rewarding game of the twenty dollar scratch offs.

I went to my local food mart today and the lottery removed all BDB from the shelf-the cashier told me that they may relaunch the games or may not (the game was not a big seller).

So all BDB will be removed....

As of 2pm today if you go to the Florida lottery site and look for remaining prizes BDB is off the list. So I'm guessing that the rumor is true they might be re-lauching it.

I saw that this morning on Florida Lottery website, I guess your right they are still out there. I really dont care to much for this game. besides the tickets being very hard to scratch, I myself have never won anything over $100 on this game. I have won 1k on all $20 games except GRT and BDB. But atleast I got $500 on GRT a few times.

I think it's because the tics were too hard to scratch. I scratched off the serial code once and you could not read the numbers. Plus there a lot more winners are blockbuster than any other $20 game. bDB was my fav tix until I couldn't scratch them anymore. Not being easy to scratch made me stop playing.

Today I was in Winter Park and talking to a lottery retailer (CITGO Gas station owner) . I was informed that they cannot order new BDB because the game will be renamed and relaunched. I sent an email to the FL lottery today asking about this but I have yet to get a response, once I do I'll post it here. If this is true no wonder there have been so many looser tickets as of late (whenever you can get your hands on one).

I went to the DO in West Palm today and they had every game in play, but BDB was not there so IDK what is happening

Maybe giving them a call will help but everywhere that had the game doesn't have it anymore

Hopefully there not trying to pull the game with all those prizes left

I was playing BDB a couple weeks ago in New Smyrna Beach. I lost big time. I haven't been looking to notice if BDB is out there. I will start looking and let you know. I typically play in port orange and new smyrna. Those tics were hard to scratch so maybe they are making new ones.
