the decreasing Powerball sales are mostly due to the fact MM and PB jackpots were nearly identical in cash value. Spending $2 per ticket to try and win almost the same amount doesn't make much sense. If mega millions gets won tomorrow night and the mega millions jackpot is reset to $12 million, then PB sales will definitely pick up.

I volunteer to take the mega millions jackpot tomorrow night, you guys can take PB.

Hard to say. As the Powerball jackpot has been increasing, CA PB Sales have actually been decreasing, despite their wasteful commercial playing over and over again on TV.

Who would ever have thought that a freaking Airport would spit out a winning ticket. We need more Mom Pops stores winning the big ones. Those stores are being erased by Mega stores across this country, its a freaking shame. .

Let's be realistic- if Iowa Ohio which are essentially islands ( population-wise) are winning the Big Ones, how about California
