Thanks, emilyg for the up-dates concerning RickG. I pray to our Heavenly Father for a cure from this deadly illness which is so pervasive in our time - I truly believe it has something to do with our diets - the nitrites and nitrates in the meat we eat, that's why I've just about cut it out of my diet completely. Trying to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables now.

But our Heavenly Father is still in the miracle working business and he takes care of his own. I pray for a miracle cure for RickG... [ More ]

Thanks for the update emilyg. As Riick said, I'm also grateful that you started this thread, and that he has felt helped by it. As we still have work to do for May 19th and beyond, Rick, you continue to be in my thoughts, prayers and meditations. May the radiation treatments be none too severe, as your body seeks to heal.

sorry em, i've been working with a tablet computer that i just cant deal with,. Today i have energy to use regular comp. i'm pumped up today....short but sweet:

Today, had my first of four intense radiation tratment that will hopefully stave off the tumor growth long enough to perhaps make it to my son's weddinig and perhaps a little longer.

Ric G always posted positive thoughts on LP and it's encouraging that many LP members are posting positive thoughts about overcoming his very serious illness. Ric beat the lottery odds so I'm positive he can beat these odds too.

Rick here's something i had to tell my wife when she was going through chemo and radiation treatments.

Now you have to be stronger mentally and physically than you ever were in all your life you can beat this. Fight through all the pain and misery. Were praying for you, we want you around us, need you around us.
