Very very ocasionally the exact number will flit through my head, i mean it comes so fast and leaves that it barely catches my attention. The last one I can think of was right when I was reaching up to push on the door to enter the lottery establishment. It was the winning pick three number and I thought hmm nevermind I'm playing these numbers I like. Players who buy quick picks, play birthdays or the same set of numbers every time don't have those moments, it's only players who think they can pick the winning combination who have those moment. But even they should have some rules that dictate their picks so there shouldn't be any regrets afterward.

Not me. I never regret. On pick 3/4 games I always see a number drawn and want to do this because I was probably thinking of that number that day. Then the next time I think of a number I get all excited and play it. Guess what happens next - it does not come. Not even the next 10/20/50 draws. I learned early to keep moving no matter what happens.

Turned 18, wrote down a line for the mega millions (first or second time I'd have been playing.)

Line was really long at the store, my friend wants to leave and I think screw it I'm wasting a dollar anyway.

Turns out my first 5 were all right, would have won 200K or 250K (I forgot which paid which at the time between PB and MM.) Oh well, at that time I probably would have given it to my parents, since having that much cash myself fresh out of High School seems reckless...... [ More ]

watching the draw on tv, 5 of 6 and the last number still to be drawn. waiting for that last number, if only ,,, i had picked what ever it was.
